Bloomberg -- Oil steadied as traders looked to a revival in Chinese demand this year after data showed that the economy fared better than expected last quarter, with further clues on the outlook to come in an OPEC analysis.
I reached out to another clerk to check in and she said that it says that one of the medication says it was just put in to order and is processing. An hour of waiting I reach out to the third Clerk that I speak with and she clarifies that the medication I have ordered is not in stock and I should come in another day, another set of medication was ready.
That was not very appreciated as I would have gladly walked in the following week for the unavailable meds rather that waiting for things that is not there and waste my time. It is so inconsiderate to have someone wait and occupy the pharmacy space. Damnnnn it's dirtyyyyy there's pills spilled all across the floor, a shit stain and an entire squashed cigarette and that's just what's in front of my line of sight.
Definitely the D Squad on this morning. I'm a longtime Kaiser member, and I usually use the mail order Rx out in Livermore. The line was out the door, but it moved fairly quick. I only waited about mins for my meds to be ready, and I was on my way. Covid restrictions are no longer in place, but Kaiser likes you to wear a mask and sanitize. The system is simple Method of payment and medical history should be kept private.
I notice the neg reviews deal with waiting and bad customer service. I used to work part-time in a private Pharmacy. The time it takes to process an order depends on: number of staff working, how complicated the Rx order is, is the drug available, and do they need Doctor's approval to dispense the meds.
A Pharmacy is not a fast food restaurant. It's one of the most important depts in any hospital. They cannot make mistakes. Everything is checked and double checked. That all takes time It would be hard for the clerk to know when each order will be ready. Kaiser Rx SSF is uniquely located at the ground level of the parking garage. It's open everyday until 8pm.
Take the main parking garage elevator to the ground, and the doors will open in front of the Pharmacy. Again I get a response it could be sent to me. No I told the girl I had plans to go out of town. Well that changed and it shows me a business like Kaiser doesn't want to take any responsibility for being wrong. Shame on you.
I'll keep this one short and sweet. I like this pharmacy due to their hours of operation. The staff working here are fast, friendly and professional. Kudos to these wonderful people. Couldnt give 0 stars. They're always understaffed and have no sense of urgency to get people the medication they need asap. The worst pharmacy experience I ever have in my life. Definitely not recommend to go there. People work there rude and lazy. I went there to refill my prescriptions. I checked in.
The guy told me to wait outside for 15 mins and we will call you when prescriptions ready. So I wait outside but I went back in the pharmacy because it's freezing cold weather. I thought they gonna call me soon but I wait wait and wait.. I just wanted to follow up and ask the lady in the station 1. She was really rude. First word came out from her mouth, was back to that line and only one line. I looked at that line and nobody in the line at all and I just want to know how long was my prescriptions ready.
She keep raising her voice and said back to that line. And they don't have you instructions how to get your prescriptions. So finally back to the line with no one there. They recently strike for requesting to pay more. For those service!! They don't deserve to get paid more. Rule and lazy!! Just shut it down Garbage!!! Saturday night at 7 pm I needed to call the Kaiser advice nurse to get antibiotics. Since this main pharmacy is open until 8 pm, I had the nurse send my prescription there.
We arrived at pm, the parking lot had a few cars but pretty empty. When we got to the pharmacy doors, they have a technician there with a computer and you check in there. She said it would just be a couple of minutes. She let me into the waiting room and no one was there, just me.
After about 2 minutes the technician behind the counter called me, and very quickly rang me up and we were out of there. Both technicians were very friendly, professional and very nice. Thank you both for making it a great experience.
Lately prescriptions haven't been ready for pick up whether you order online or if your physician approves. I've had to wait twice no while it's been filled. The cashier told me my doctor had just put it in my profile another excuse was they just received the order when it was two days ago that I placed it. I hope things go back to normal soon. I think the newer staff are running things their way. This is a complicating process for patients. Why is there check-in, fast pass, and pick up separate lines.
The heck is fast pass?! Why do I need to check in when I already ordered on the app?! The staff were mean when I stood in the wrong line!!!!! Not helpful! Miss Y. My mom was admitted to hospice with Asian Network Pacific Hospice in September after two unsuccessful brain surgeries and two lumbar drains.
At the same time, my father was recovering from a stroke…" read more. The skilled, professional, amazing surgeons at South San Francisco Kaiser. Do you know how dehumanizing it is to have more than one medical professional ignore your complaints of extreme pain and "something is really wrong with me.
I am not a drug addict. There really was something very wrong with me as you will learn. After more than a month of pain, I finally had my surgery. It took so long because I had to wait for a CT why do pain patients have to wait and wait for a consult with my surgeon and wait for the surgery date.
I understand we are still living in Covid times. I also know if I went to the ER, emergency surgery happens there. I had emergency surgery before. I didn't want to do that knowing the staff were overworked and prioritizing patients. I was being a good citizen by tolerating the pain.
I shouldn't have done that. Kaiser should have expedited what I needed without me going to the ER, which in my case, would have been warranted. The video consult with Dr. Le was excellent. I felt like he addressed my concerns, understood what I wanted.
He walked me thorough the surgery, carefully explaining why, the risks, and the benefits. During surgery I presented with a complication. An infection. A serious infection that left me with a gaping hole in my abdomen where Dr. Le bored out the infectious sack full of pus that could have exploded inside of me, causing sepsis.
He spotted inflammation on the CT which the other surgeon from Kaiser Marin did not. I was supposed to go home after my surgery but that serious infection and the gaping wound in my abdomen meant I needed to stay overnight for care and observation.
The nursing team treated me with dignity, compassion, and anticipatory assists are like offering me juice in between "meals" because I was on a strict liquid diet or offering to help me walk in the halls as often and long as I wanted.
They checked on me regularly to make sure I was comfortable, free of pain. Everyone who came into my room identified themselves, outlined their reason for being in my room, and then did what they needed to do.
Le called my husband anxiously waiting in the car due to the hospitals Covid measures immediately after surgery to update him how my surgery went and sent him home before traffic. I was glad because I get really embarrassed after anesthesia. I say all kinds of things that I wish I didn't. It's like a fever dream but out loud. Why 3 stars? The hospital room itself.
Listen, we are living in stressful times where cleanliness is what encourages or discourages your sense of safety. I attached photos. How can this be during this time of COVID that the hospital rooms are not only very dated and worn, but the actual room and bathroom was visibly filthy. Kaiser Corporate needs to figure this out.
I don't care if South San Francisco is old - we, the members deserve consistency in the Kaiser branded facilities we visit. You go to the hospital for care, not infection.
That visible dirt deserves 1 star but the wonderful nursing staff Cyrill, Camille, Raquel, and everyone on shift my stay deserve five stars. Makes me sad to lower the star rating because my surgeon, anesthesiologist, and my entire surgical staff also truly deserve 5 stars and high praise for their compassionate, skilled care but the state of that hospital room is a disgrace. Kaiser, take care of this. I have been a Kaiser member from the time I was pregnant with my older daughter.
She is I really love my doctors at Kaiser and have had so many decades of positive healthcare experiences, this makes the state of the hospital rooms very sad to me.
Kaiser, get corporate to allocate and disburse funding for an immediate deep cleaning of your facilities. Then fight them for a facelift. We, the Kaiser members, deserve consistency in every Kaiser facility. You can do this. See all photos from Jennifer C P. Guess who just had emergency gall bladder removal surgery?
After my GP sent me to get a sonogram at the Hickey location she asked me to go to the emergency room to let them do lab work so we could make a decision if I needed surgery immediately or we could schedule it.
I understood how serious my condition was so I went directly to the emergency room in South San Francisco. After a brief wait I was taken back for triage and placed in a shared room. My labs were drawn and IV with potassium started. Then the results. So before I go into my surgery, everyone who cared for me in the ER to this point were professional, thoughtful, and efficient. I feel bad I do not remember the doctors names or all the nurses except Amanda.
I remembered Amanda from my last ER visit and hospitalization because she was above average excellent! Also, you never forget the person who stabs you with an Epi Pen. She was great this visit as well. Everyone on staff guarded my privacy without mistreating my loved ones who phoned and came to visit me. I appreciate that. My surgeon, Dr. James Peter Grant Morris, was almost out the door to go home when the ER contacted him to do my surgery that night.
He didn't seem to mind staying late to take care of me. He throughly explained the medical necessity of the surgery, what the surgery would entail, and what recovery would look like. He took the time to ensure I felt informed and confident with what was about to happen. Next Dr. Brian Tzeng, my anesthesiologist, came to speak with me about my anesthesia, medical history, and go over the plan for my surgery anesthesia.
He was thorough, patient, and informative. Usually in previous surgeries I have had, anesthesiologists talk to me for less than 5 minutes, and then I see them in the OR. Tzeng spent a lot more time with me which made me feel super confident when I saw him again in the OR. The way he induced my anesthesia wasn't immediate blackout. Instead I just felt drowsy like I was falling asleep until I was completely out. It was really nice. He also made sure I had the anti-nausea patch I usually have for surgery and he administered all the potassium I needed while I was under.
Potassium burns so having it while I was not conscious was really nice! The OR staff were amazing. For the few minutes I was awake. When I woke up both my surgeon and anesthesiologist monitored me and spoke to me and my husband about the surgery I just had as well as my after care.
They spent a lot of time with me making sure everything is moving along nicely so I could go home I wanted to recover at home on my fancy gigantic TempurPedic with power base The nurses who took care of me after my surgery were efficient and kind.
They gave me juice and water, chatted with me, made sure my pain was managed. I really appreciated the KP. Despite this gallbladder issue covering 72 hours, interactions with various departments and Kaiser locations, everyone had access to the entirety of my information at their fingertips.
Once again Kaiser Permanente earned a 5 star review. It is scary to have things happen to your body knowing you have to put our trust in strangers to help you. Every single person I encountered for my gall bladder removal surgery demonstrated competence, professionalism, compassion, and offered personalized care.
An area I feel can be improved? The ER. It's just so small and compared to Redwood City, it's really showing signs of age. While the ER team are above average, the ER itself needs a facelift. I understand I was there during construction. The work being done wouldn't address the small space and antiquated look. I live in San Francisco. It is 12 minutes to this ER. The Geary Location is 40 minutes. This is the only ER in the gateway of the Peninsula so you can imagine how many people the ER staff work so hard to provide care in that small space.
Aside from that, I am recovering nicely thanks to the mastery of my doctors and the anticipatory quality care from the nurses.
Everyone exceeded my expectations and reaffirmed why I have been a member of Kaiser Permanente for almost 30 years. I am so grateful to everyone who took such excellent care of me. It is really humbling to experience such compassionate care by skilled professionals working together Take a bow, you've earned a perfect 5 star review individually and collectively despite working without a contract since September, right? I read the article. I'm an avid reader. It's still fundamental.
Ok that's all. I phoned to schedule an urgent appointment because my face was swelling. After an hour I phoned again because my entire face was swollen shut and I started having trouble swallowing.
I went to he emergency room where I was immediately taken in. The emergency room doctor and nurses started helping me right away. My bed was literally in the hallway because they didn't have any private treatment areas. I didn't care - I needed help. I didn't have my Epi pens. They gave me an Epi Pen shot in the ER along with a host of other things. My ER doctor didn't feel comfortable sending me home so I was admitted to the hospital at this SSF location for round the clock care.
My takeaway: 1. I trust Kaiser with my health because they have consistently gone to bat for me to ensure I receive quality care with a collaborative team effort with all the staff. The majority of doctors and nurses at Kaiser give compassionate quality care. Their follow up appointments with the appropriate medical specialists and services is impressive.
This review was hard for me to write because it makes me so emotional. I've been a Kaiser member since I was That is 29 years. I trust Kaiser. I am grateful for the many doctors and nurses who have helped me over the years. I appreciate quality compassionate care. I recommend Kaiser. They saved my life. Pizza isn't the only thing you can have in half an hour A spider bit my ear.
Poor me - my ear was swollen, throbbing, and very painful. I rang the advice nurse at She told me to go to this SoSF Offices - not the Daly City Location I usually go to, for urgent care at a few hours from the time we were speaking with one another I pulled into the parking lot and found a spot straight away. Walked in at for my appointment. Murphy thoroughly examined my ear, advised me how to keep myself comfortable and ordered an antibiotic to facilitate rapid healing via computer for the pharmacy downstairs - on my way to my vehicle in the parking structure.
Murphy was personable, offered a thorough explanation of what my body was doing to fight off that venous bite, and relaxed with answering my questions and addressing my concerns didn't rush me out the door. By the time the elevator took me down to the ground floor where the pharmacy is - my prescription was ready!
I picked it up, had my consultation with the pharmacist and was out the door and in my vehicle at Everyone I encountered at this visit were friendly, professional, and helpful. I really love Kaiser. This visit is a great illustration why. You can get things other than pizza in 30 mins or less! Went to Kaiser Wednesday at 7pm was standing in pick up line lady said go to window So I did to place a order said the computers were slow.
Got to the window girl told me pharmacist can't get my order cause the system was down. Get this they both close at 8pm. Then I ask her can she put my order in for tomorrow. So I thought it was done. Got home called the guy said no it wasn't done so he did it for me.
Then I get a email to pick it up at pm. Waste of gas going there and coming back again the next day. When I got there all they had to do was reboot their computers.
Seems like no communication with the IT guy and staff. Not happy I had to waste my time and gas because of their mistakes. Gas is not cheap and my time was wasted. I will share your feedback with management. You can fill most prescriptions online and they are mailed to your home at no additional cost. Please see the following link for more information: thrive. It took a 35 minutes for a prescription pick up.
The tech said it would only take 15 minutes. The only reason we opted to go in store was because the doctor said they changed the dosage on the medication. Usually we do mail order so it's easier for everyone.
Since it's a new dosage, the medication is a different order number, we figured we had to go in to the pharmacy to get it. The tech said next time we could just call and then can help order it for us for mail in instead. Hopefully it was just a one time thing because I rather just do mail in.
We're sorry for your recent experience and want to thank you for bringing this to our attention. We've forwarded your comments to the department manager. If you need further assistance, please send your full name and contact information to us at kpsanfrancisco kp.
